How we handle your story
Your story is read once, then thrown away. Nothing you write is saved.
- When you place a promise, your words are sent to Claude, an AI made by Anthropic, which reads the story and writes your results. Anthropic handles that text under its own privacy policy.
- We don't keep your story, your results, or any file you attach. We don't use accounts, and we don't ask for your name or email.
- Please leave out names, towns, workplaces, and anything else that could identify a real person. The diner will ask you to change them if it spots any.
- To keep the diner fair and affordable, each visitor can place 5 promises an hour. To count them, we keep a scrambled stand-in for your internet address for one hour, then it's deleted. It can't be turned back into your address.
- A quick "are you human?" check from Cloudflare keeps robots out. Cloudflare handles that check under its own privacy policy.
- The thumbs up or down after your results is not saved.
- We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
If we ever start keeping anonymous research tallies (which laws held or gave way, never your words), we'll say so here first.
